Burgan Bank wanted to enhance and provide systematic Loans services to its customers.

HIT studied the needs of the Loan department and implemented a workflow solution using Ultimus Workflow Suite of products in automating the Loan Approval process for Consumer and Corporate Loans at the Bank. This process not only saved on time but also help in building a systematic process.

HIT team implemented Internet Banking Solution at Burgan Bank in a year, currently live as www.beeebank.com. The implementation consisted of integrating with the bank’s back-end core banking solution as well as customizations for local requirements. The implementation partner of HIT for this project was CR2 whose BankWorld product has been licensed to Burgan Bank. The project involved a strong team of ten from HIT and six from the customer side at one particular location.

Burgan Bank wanted to be in the competition by providing its customers with maximum benefits by banking through a Bank Card.

• GenCard – Debit and Credit Card Management System
• Monad – Multi-Function SmartCard Solutions

Our team implemented e24 payment gateway first. After Burgan bank went live, it was followed by BASE24 and GenCard. Monald being a very complex solution for SmartCard implementation, it has been postponed till the strategy on issuing of multi-function cards have been set in conjunction with EMV implementation as per Visa and MasterCard regulations.

The implementation partner for this project was ACI Worldwide whose products mentioned above where licensed to Burgan Bank. The project was successfully completed in 20 months with a strong team of 12 from HIT and six from the customers end at one particular location.

Major problem facing firms today is the ability to hire and retain the technical talent necessary to design, implement and maintain the technology solutions that businesses need, that is to have reliable and integrated communication capabilities. Businesses need immediate and reliable access to telephone, fax and Internet services. United Reality Company approached HIT for Smart building technology, which could solve problems for tenants.

HIT team took the charge of supplying and implementation of Cabling, Networking, Infrastructure and Voice Over IP Telephony to make City Tower the first smart building in Kuwait. A state-of-the-art work environment, including full in-building network access, voice service, and affordable, reliable and high-speed Internet access.

The project required a strong team of seven from HIT – customer service department to complete the project successfully in a record time of six months.

The Public Institution for social security is a public institution, which has an independent budget and has a body corporate. It is subjected to the supervision of the Minister of Finance. The social security system in Kuwait is effectively managed with the help of advanced infrastructure and information technologies. 

Pubic Institute For Social Security wanted advanced networking, cabling and infrastructure for its new head quarters in Kuwait, for which it approached HIT to go hand in hand to accompalish this task.

HIT team from the Customer Service Department took charge of Installation of Networking, Cabling and Infrastructure at the new head quarters of PIFSS. The project involved a team of two engineers from HIT, which was successfully completed in a period of five months.

Investment Dar Co. is a major player in investment and financing in Kuwait. Its activities involve conducting all financial transactions in accordance with Islamic sharea and regulations, providing consumers with credit facilities. Managing financial portfolios, investing and developing its customer funds in all types of national and international investments. Investing in real estate, manufacturing, agricultural and other economic sectors. 

Investment Dar has around 130 employees at 4 branches around Kuwait. In order to work effectively and efficiently, Investment Dar wanted to professionally and systematically handle its data.

HIT team was faced with the challenge of networking and integrating the voice and data.

A team of five from HIT studied the client requirements and successfully accomplished the task of networking and integration of voice and data with the help of Compaq and alpha machines in a span of 3 months.
