Kuwait Computer Company S.A.K.C. (Hasibat) attends the Kuwait Conference on Electronic Government.

October 13, 2003 - Kuwait October 13, 2003 marked a full house at The Coral Room in Sheraton Hotel, Kuwait. The audience this time was not just the businessmen and senior officers of the private sector vying for business opportunities in Kuwait or the region for that matter.

Under the patronage of “The Head of Higher Organizing Committee, His Highness, The Prime Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah the “Kuwait Conference on Electronic Government” was inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed Abdulla Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Minister of Communication, Planning and Minister of State for Administrative Development and Chairman of the Central Technical Body.

The conference brought under one roof a group of “Best Minds” from around the globe to explore, inform, and educate on how the State of Kuwait shall benefit by implementing Information Technology into government services thus realizing its dream of “Simple, Capable and Efficient” eKuwait.

The management of Kuwait Computer Company S.A.K.C. better known as Hasibat, Kuwait’s first publicly traded IT Company attended the much awaited event. Bringing information technology in all walks of life in all sectors of the Kuwaiti economy was the dream Hasibat was established upon.
